Hyperbaric Lifeboats (HLB), also called Self Propelled Hyperbaric Lifeboats (SPHL) are designed and constructed by Oceanwide Safety at Sea. Established in 2002 in the heart of Rotterdam, Oceanwide S.a.S. is now the world's leader for Hyperbaric Lifeboats, having delivered over 30 boats in the last couple of years.

Oceanwide Safety at Sea furthermore builds specialized Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) for both the professional and consumer market and recently developed a RIB designed for a fast rescue of divers. The standard Totally Enclosed Lifeboats (TELB) is also part of the product range of the company.

The company’s professional engineers are fully certified to provide inspections and service of (Hyperbaric) Lifeboats both offshore and on-shore in any location of the world. The company has it’s own production facility and workshop at the Maashaven in Rotterdam and has therefore the possibility to perform all necessary repair to all types of Lifeboats and RIB’s.
